Awesome Space Sarah! Apart from dying every time my character stepped onto your circular planes, off the meeting space, towards Stephen Hawking's space especially; the studios are very well interconnected through the meeting plane. Overall the spaces are very intriguing, spicy-flavoured in coloured lighting and textures with an unexpected feminine touch. Cheers! Svet

...Slim's holdings, in business and beyond, are now so vast that he sometimes loses track of what he owns. Yet, the small boy with the ledger notebook still surfaces from time to time. While speaking in his office, Slim impulsively decides he needs to know the value of his necktie, which was lying on a chair nearby.

He stabs a button on his intercom, reaching his assistant, Silvia Esparragoza.
"Silvia, how much do these ties cost there in Sanborn's?"
"Those ties cost, on average, 481 pesos," she replied.
"About 43 dollars," Slim said, figuring the exchange rate in his head. "Is that with tax?"
"Yes, with tax," she said.
"On sale or not on sale?"
There was silence from the intercom. "Um, I don't remember," Esparragoza said.
Looking disappointed, Slim flips the intercom off. "The tie is from Sanborn's, but the shoes I buy from Saks, which isn't my store," he said.Then he corrects himself."Well, we're partners, but it's not my store," he said, smiling.
In fact, the Slim family is Saks' biggest shareholder, with 17.4 percent of the U.S. company's shares...

I remember what a man in the business told me back then," Zhang Yin said. "He said, 'Waste paper is like a forest. Paper recycles itself, generation after generation.'"

Zhang took that memory all the way to the bank. As a result of her entrepreneurship, she is now richer than virtually any other woman anywhere in the world, including Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, and the chief executive of eBay, Meg Whitman. Her personal wealth is estimated at $1.5 billion or more.

Most of the world's richest women inherited their wealth: from the Walton sisters of Wal-Mart fame to the daughters of the men who created Mars candy bars, L'Oréal cosmetics and BMW. But not Zhang. She started out from a modest background, the daughter of a military officer. Now she dominates the world's paper trade through her giant companies, one centered in Dongguan, just outside Hong Kong, and the other based in Los Angeles.

"She's a visionary," said Herman Woo, an analyst at BNP Paribas, which helped her large paper company list shares in Hong Kong. "She doesn't mind putting a lot of money in at the beginning, to build the company."

That company, Nine Dragons Paper, is now the biggest paper maker in China. It raised nearly $500 million when it went public in Hong Kong last March...

EXP2-EDGE-Developed UT Environment

Introduction to the two spaces - Stephen Hawking (Prism 9) and Florence Nightingale (Prism 11) - textures indicate differentiation of spaces. The main ramp defies all principles of form and function regularity, as it twists from Prism 9 to the top level of Prism 11, and combines the two spaces with a medium meeting space - displayed by the dark custom texture which may intrigue...


Begin at the boundary, just facing out of Prism 9 space...yet ... is there a boundary? -asks the viewer. A boundary as a threshold of spaces and planes? A universe with seemingly no real condition...


stair to allow access to Prism 11 space for Florence Nightingale. In the background a two-runner, secondary ramp is seen to engage with the upper level space...







Standing on the landing of the secondary ramp, looking upwards - a small-appearing opening is noticed up ahead - this opening leads to the upper level of Prism 11 space, we ascend ...




Now in the upper level space of Prism 11, reveals another angle perception of the distinct space - custom textures. The main ramp is now mostly visible on the right of our line of site.

Stepping onto this ramp, walking down a little way, a small staircase introduces the meeting platform. The little stair itself being an almost insignificant element of transportation downwards, perhaps creating a sense of uncertainty on approach ...



Walking up the last of the main meeting ramp, from this perspective, a glimpse of the spaces beyond into Stephen Hawkings' (Prism 11) space...

Entering Prism 11, turning and stepping onto the second secondary ramp, greeted by the introduction screen once again (screen grab two above). We see that the ramp leads back down to Florence Nightingale's Prism 9 space - and the circulation begins again.

Circulation - appearing to create a universe in its own; Boundary, yet no boundary. Ramps, especially main ramp, defy all odds to achieve an ultimate potential. Projecting spaces without fear, anticipation present in the feeling.

As we are a discontented generation we must learn to not fear this and instead reach for our potential, which will ultimately lead to a satisfaction. We should know that the universe exists as it does, and it can neither be created nor destroyed; however what we do within it, can alter our perception of the world. As the universe just is, so are we just a spirit or essence within it of worthy recognition.”

The prism drawn was chosen to be on the other side of the threshold (behind the edge) therefore think of the largest mass in the sketch as a part of the view beyond the 'template wall boundary' in the first screen capture. In the second screen capture, the ramp-like and the adjoining horizontal spaces are illustrated. The textures are a draft set-up for the moment, simply to function as a guide for space distinction.
